INDIANAPOLIS — An Indianapolis-based nonprofit is looking to hire 50 people in 2021.

New Hope, a community-based organization, helps Hoosiers with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

The new positions will be in group homes in northwest Indianapolis, east Indianapolis and Hamilton County. The organization has a demand for direct support professionals (DSPs) who assist New Hope clients. DSPs help the individuals with daily tasks such as bathing, dressing and cooking/eating.

“DSPs have always been considered essential workers to our organization,” said New Hope of Indiana CEO Allison Wharry. “Without them, we would not be able to carry out our core business of care and support for people with disabilities.”

The nonprofit has 100% paid short- and long-term disability, tuition reimbursement and more.
