MUNCIE, Ind. -- Two people were arrested on charges of kidnapping and attacking three people with a nail gun Wednesday night in Muncie, Indiana.
The Muncie Police Department was called to the 3800 block of North Broadway in regards to a kidnapping.
Police said three adults were held against their will for three hours inside of a car detail shop at 3822 N. Broadway.
One of the female victims escaped and ran to a nearby gas station for help.
Officers found two women and one man duct taped and zip-tied.
The victims had also been shot with a nail gun in the legs several times, police say.
One of the female victims suffered several injuries to her legs, which police believed happened due to being shot with the nail gun.
The male victim was hit in the head and shoulder with a shovel several times.
All three victims are seeking treatment at IU Health Ball Memorial Hospital.
The suspects, 55-year-old Robert Walton and 34-year-old Benitez McCullum were arrested a short time after police arrived.
