INDIANAPOLIS -- Two people were arrested after stealing a car and crashing it while fleeing, police say.
The incident began in the 4700 block of Laurel Hall Drive when somebody noticed a man and woman looking into a neighbor's window. They called 911 and asked them what they were doing.
They kept looking into the windows of the house. When police arrived, the 18-year-old man and 17-year-old girl got into a stolen car and drove away.
They crashed near the intersection of Millersville Road and Emerson Way, about half a mile away.
One of the officers following also drove off the road into a wooded area. That officer is OK, but his car is damaged.
The two suspects got out of the car and ran. Police found them and took them into custody.
A sawed off shotgun was found in the stolen car.
