FISHERS, Ind. -- Two people were injured Wednesday morning in a two-vehicle crash in Fishers.
The crash happened around 6 a.m. on Brooks School Road, between 116th Street and Fall Creek Road between a 2006 Saturn Ion car and a 2005 Chevrolet Silverado truck.
Police said based on evidence and statements from the drivers, it seems the Saturn, driven by 24-year-old Gavin Vincent of Indianapolis, was traveling northbound and may have driven left of the center, striking the southbound Chevrolet head-on, driven by Bradley Shupe,33, of Fishers.
Vincent suffered serious injuries and was transported to a hospital by air ambulance, officers said. Shupe suffered minor injuries and was transported by ground ambulance by the Fishers Department of Fire and Emergency Services.
Police said drugs or alcohol didn't seem to play a factor in the accident.
Brooks School Road was closed for two hours between Anchorage Way and Club Point Drive, but has since reopened.
