CARMEL, Ind. -- Carmel can now boast that the city is home to 110 roundabouts.
The 110th roundabout opened Thursday at the intersection of 116th Street and Towne Road.
In addition to improving traffic flow, roundabouts create an opportunity to introduce greenspace within public rights-of-way in areas that would have otherwise been paved.
