INDIANAPOLIS -- The body of a woman found in the White River on Indianapolis' southwest side has been identified as a 30-year-old woman. Her death is being investigated as a homicide.
Officers with the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department were called to the 2700 block of S. Harding Street just before 11:30 Monday morning after two fishermen said they saw a body in the river.
The woman was identified Wednesday as Jenny Boltinghouse, 30.
It is unknown how she died or how she ended up in the water.
Homicide detectives are continuing to investigate the woman's death. Anyone with information about the case is asked to call Crime Stoppers at (317) 262 -TIPS (8477).
