INDIANAPOLIS – Homicide detectives were investigating Wednesday after a man's body was found in an alley on the east side.
Just after 7 a.m. Wednesday, IMPD officers were called to the 2900 block of North Denny Street on a report of a body lying in an alley.
Officers arrived to find 49-year-old Lee Banyon, of Indianapolis, unresponsive. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

An autopsy was scheduled to determine Banyon's cause of death.
