INDIANAPOLIS -- It's a ruff world out there.
Butler University's bulldog mascot, Butler Blue III, AKA Trip, has a partially torn ACL in his right hind leg.
Trip announced the injury on his Twitter account Thursday morning.
He'll be out of commission for two weeks, including Homecoming weekend at Butler. Trip didn't say how he sustained the injury, but he's constantly seen throughout campus at Butler.

According to his website, Trip (short for Triple, as in the third Butler Blue) is 4 years old. The 62-pound English bulldog took over for Butler Blue II in 2013.
