CARMEL — The SoHo Cafe and Gallery in Carmel will close at the end of the month on the 10-year anniversary of its opening.
The cafe is located at 620 S. Rangeline Road. In a Facebook post announcing the decision to close, the shop didn't say exactly what is causing the closure.
"December 2020 marks SoHo’s 10th Anniversary," the post reads. "We opened in 2010 on a very snowy and windy day thinking it was a terrible opening day for a small, independent coffee house…finally one lone man trudged down the hill from the Monon Trail and was our first customer."
The business' SoHo to Go Coffee Truck will remain in operation throughout Carmel.
"We thank you from the bottom of our hearts for putting SoHo on the map the past 10 years," the post says. "We have had nothing but wonderful experiences and look forward to what’s ahead."
