LOGANSPORT, Ind. – A man was arrested Saturday morning in Logansport after police say he allegedly shot another man after a fight in a pub.
Logansport Police Department officers and emergency responders were called around 3:15 a.m. Saturday to the 1600 block of Erie Avenue on the report of shots fired. When they arrived, they found a 44-year-old man in the roadway suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.
The victim was transported to Logansport Memorial Hospital by medics before being airlifted to Lutheran Hospital in Ft. Wayne in critical condition.
Police say a 28-year-old man, of Logansport, was arrested on the suspicion of aggravated battery.
Witnesses told police there was a fight inside the Corner Pub, near where the victim was shot, before the shooting.
Police say the case is still under investigation.
