INDIANAPOLIS — The bridge on Central Avenue near Fall Creek is expected to reopen on Friday after being closed for more than two years.
Crews are expected to reopen the bridge by rush hour Friday afternoon, according to a tweet from the Indianapolis Department of Public Works.

The bridge closed in January 2017 for repairs after it began to fall apart. Indianapolis DPW was hoping the bridge would reopen in July.
