INDIANAPOLIS -- The Children's Museum of Indianapolis offered the first look Wednesday at its major new expansion.
The Riley Children's Health Sports Legends Experience is a $35 million project that will cover seven-and-a-half acres on the north side of the museum's property.

Plans are for it to include an 18-hole putting/mini-golf course, pedal car race tracks, track and family fitness loops, a street hockey area, soccer field and other recreational areas.
Colts Quarterback Andrew Luck was part of the planning process for the expansion, and was on-hand for the announcement Wednesday.
"There is something for everybody at every age, so I think it fits right in with the messaging of living a healthy, active lifestyle and getting other people involved with it, whether it be your family or friends," Luck said.
The project is expected to be completed by Spring 2018.
