CLINTON COUNTY, Ind. -- One person was killed and five others injured, including a 5-year-old boy, in an early morning fire in Clinton County.
Frankfort firefighters responded to a fire at a two-story farmhouse at 2:20 a.m., in the 2200 block of Rossville Avenue.
An adult man was airlifted to Eskenazi Hospital in Indianapolis but died Monday afternoon. His identity has not been released.
A 5-year-old was also lifelined to Riley Hospital, his condition is unknown at this time.
Four other people were rescued from the fire - two were taken to IU Health in Lafayette, one to Riley Hospital by ambulance, one to IU Health in Frankfort. Their current conditions are unknown.
Eleven off-duty firefighters were called in, Chief John Kirby said.
No firefighters were hurt.
