INDIANAPOLIS -- An argument over a bottle of water turned violent Friday morning at a northeast-side nightclub.
Police say an intoxicated man wanted some water at the The Point Restaurant and Lounge, near the intersection of 34th Street and Arlington Avenue. The man refused to pay $2 for the water, and began arguing about it.
The bouncer for the club got involved, and the man pulled a .22-caliber Derringer and fired at the bouncer's head. The shot tore through the bouncer's earlobe.
After shooting at the bouncer, the man ran about 50 yards, where police caught him.
The man was arrested and preliminarily charged with aggravated assault.
