Crews continue to search Deer Creek in Delphi for missing four-year-old boy

DELPHI — Crews are entering their third day of searching Deer Creek in Delphi for a missing four-year-old boy who was swept away on Thursday.

Indiana Conservation Officers and other emergency personnel in Carroll County resumed their search around 8 a.m. Saturday for Owen Jones, of Monticello, who was swept away by the flooded creek on Thursday.

Crews are using drones, boats, sonar and an airboat to search the creek, Indiana Conservation Lt. Dan Dulin said in a press release.
