SOUTH BEND — An 11-month-old boy was injured in a shooting early Sunday morning in South Bend.
South Bend Police Department officers were notified around 4 a.m. after the boy was shot in the shoulder and taken to the hospital, police said in a tweet. He was treated for non-life threatening injuries.
The boy was taken to the hospital by his grandmother, according to ABC 57 in South Bend.
Around 4am, a walk-in at the hospital for an 11 month old male with a non life threatening wound to shoulder. Incident happened in the 300 blk of N. O'Brien where shots were fired. Anyone with information on either incident call 235-9201 or Crime Stoppers @ 288-STOP. #southbend
