GRANT COUNTY, Ind. -- Two armed robbery suspects were caught by members of the Grant County sheriff's department Wednesday morning.

Taylor University is closed until noon and Eastbrook Community Schools are closed for the day.

The robbery happened at a Shell gas station near State Road 67 and I-69 in Daleville, Indiana Tuesday evening. An armed gunman robbed the gas station, according to Daleville police. There were multiple patrons inside at the time of the robbery, including a small child.

The vehicle was stopped near 8400 E. SR 26, and the two suspects ran to the northeast. They were caught at around 8:30 a.m.

Police arrested Steeve Louis, 23, and Elijah Shores, 22, both from Fort Wayne. They are facing multiple charges including auto theft, armed robbery, resisting law enforcement and carrying a handgun without a license.

Louis is also charged with possession of marijuana.

Both men are being held on a $52,000 bond in the Delaware County jail.

Police found stolen guns from Michigan with them. The car was stolen from Indianapolis.
