INDIANAPOLIS — An emergency alert was issued by Indiana University Purdue University - Indianapolis Sunday morning after an armed robbery near campus.
Police say they are investigating an armed robbery in the area of 10th Street and Indiana Avenue, according to the alert.
Just before 10 a.m., another emergency alert was issued saying they are still looking for the suspect, but there is no longer an imminent treat.
People were asked to stay away from the area while authorities investigate.

This is the second emergency alert issued by IUPUI after an armed robbery in three days. On Friday, an emergency alert was issued for an armed robbery in the 900 block of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Street. Police are still looking for two suspects in the case.
