INDIANAPOLIS – The FBI is looking for an unnamed male in connection with a child sexual exploitation investigation.

The man is only known as John Doe 42. Video of him was first produced in October 2015.

He has been described as a white male with gray hair and wearing a red and black plaid shirt, but investigators believe his appearance may have changed over the years.

He speaks English in the video.

Investigators also believe the man speaks in what could be considered a southern accent, but there are no leads as to where he may be located.

The man is being sought as part of the FBI’s Operation Rescue Me and Endangered Child Alert Program initiatives.

Operation Rescue Me focuses on utilizing clues obtained through in-depth image analysis to identify the child victims depicted in child exploitation material, while ECAP seeks national and international media exposure of unknown adults (referred to as John/Jane Does) who visibly display their faces and/or other distinguishing characteristics in association with child pornography images.
