INDIANAPOLIS -- A man was found dead inside a vehicle Wednesday morning on Indianapolis' north side, marking the city's first homicide of 2018.

Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department homicide detectives were called to the 3600 block of Schofield Avenue where a man was found dead around 9 a.m. in the passenger seat of a car.

The Marion County Coroner has identified the victim as Rodriguez K Anderson, 27.
