Homicide detectives investigating man dead from trauma on the northwest side of Indianapolis

INDIANAPOLIS — A man's death is being investigated as a homicide after he was found dead Wednesday morning on the northwest side of Indianapolis, according to police.

The Marion County Coroner's Office determined Thursday the man, whose identity hasn't been released, died from trauma, Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department Officer Michael Hewitt said in a press release.

IMPD officers were called around 8:30 a.m. Wednesday to the 3800 block of Guion Road to investigate the man's death, Hewitt said.

Additional details surrounding the man's death have not been released.
