INDIANAPOLIS — A man has died in the hospital after a shooting on the near northeast side of Indianapolis Friday night, police said.
Just after 10 p.m., Indianapolis metro police officers responded to the 3600 block of Brookside Parkway South Drive for a welfare check.
Officers at the scene found an adult male victim with injuries consistent with gunshot wounds in critical condition.
This incident is under investigation.
