INDIANAPOLIS – Officers with the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department are investigating after a shooting victim died a month after the incident happened.
On Sept. 23, North District officers were dispatched to the 1700 block of E. 34th Street on report of two people shot. Two people were found inside a vehicle parked on the street. Both were hospitalized, one in critical condition and one in stable condition.
The one who was in critical condition died Tuesday, making the investigation a homicide.
