INDIANAPOLIS — A person was shot and killed Thursday night on the northwest side of Indianapolis.
Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department officers and emergency personnel were called around 8:15 p.m. to the 5100 block of Winterberry Circle on the report of a person shot, IMPD Officer Michael Hewitt said in a press release.
When they arrived, they found a man who appeared to be suffering from gunshot wounds, Hewitt said. The man later died.
At this time, the identity of the man or any possible suspects have not been released.
