Lawrence bank robbed, red dye pack used

LAWRENCE, Ind. -- A man robbed a Lawrence, Indiana bank Saturday afternoon.

The robbery happened around noon Saturday, at the Huntington Bank branch at 8347 Pendleton Pike. Police say the suspect entered the bank, gave the teller a note implying a weapon and demanded cash. 

The suspect then walked west from the bank, where a red dye pack went off.

Any cash used from the robbery is likely to have red dye. Nobody was hurt in the robbery. 

The suspect is described as a thin man in his mid-late 20s. He is about 6 feet tall, with facial hair and a gray zipped jogging suit, white shoes and a Nike hat.
