SPEEDWAY — A man was arrested after a woman was found shot and killed early Wednesday morning at an apartment complex in Speedway, according to police.
A 45-year-old woman had at least one gunshot wound when Speedway Police Department officers were called to investigate the incident around 2:20 a.m. in the Brickyard Flats apartment complex, SPD Lt. Jim Thiele said in a press release.
Her identity has not yet been released by the Marion County Coroner's Office.
A 41-year-old man was arrested and preliminarily charged with murder, Thiele said. Formal charges have not yet been filed, according to online court records.
