INDIANAPOLIS — Four people were injured and a man was arrested for alleged DWI after a four-car crash early Sunday morning on the north side of Indianapolis.

Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department officers and emergency personnel were called around 1:30 a.m. to the area of East Fall Creek Parkway North Drive and North Keystone Avenue on the report of a four-car crash, IMPD Officer Aaron Hamer said in an email. Officers located multiple patients when they arrived.

Four patients, one with serious bodily injuries, one in critical condition, and two in stable condition, were taken to an area hospital, Hamer said.

A man was arrested on the suspicion of DWI, Hamer said. At this time, it is not clear if the man was one of the people injured in the crash.

The crash remains under investigation.
