Man convicted in human trafficking of Indianapolis teen girl case

INDIANAPOLIS — A man was convicted Wednesday in connection with the human trafficking of an Indianapolis teen girl case.

Krisean Porter was convicted of promoting of human trafficking of a minor, promoting prostitution, sexual misconduct with a minor, and promoting prostitution, according to a press release from the Marion County Prosecutor's Office.

He was found not guilty of corrupt business influence, according to online court records.

Porter was arrested after a July 2017 investigation by the Indiana State Police found he had trafficked a 15-year-old girl, listed as a runaway, for about a month, according to the release.

During the investigation, detectives found medical documents, notebooks with online advertisement information, information regarding prices and locations for motels and a clipboard with his name and apparent rules for the victim, according to the release.

Porter is scheduled to be sentenced on Oct. 25, according to online court records.
