INDIANAPOLIS -- Police are searching for a stolen vehicle in connection with a homicide on Indianapolis' northeast side.
A man was found dead by his son around 1 a.m., Tuesday in a house in the 5200 block of Daniel Drive. Family members say the man lived alone, and this is the last thing they'd expect to happen.
The 64-year-old man, identified as Dallis Coleman, Sr., was pronounced dead at the scene. The Marion County Coroner says Coleman died from a gunshot wound.
Detectives with the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department are looking for a stolen dark blue/charcoal 2014 Kia Soul with the plate ABM259.
