INDIANAPOLIS — IMPD has arrested a suspect they believe is connected to a fatal shooting on the north side earlier this month.
According to IMPD, on Wednesday, September 10, Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department Northwest District officers responded to a shooting report around 12:14 p.m. in the 8000 block of Dowitch Lane.
When officers arrived, they found an adult male victim with gunshot wounds. He was pronounced dead at the scene. The victim was later identified as 58-year-old Curtis Harris.
IMPD said the suspect's arrest is one of several arrests related to murder made during Operation Guardian.
