INDIANAPOLIS -- One man was shot and killed early Tuesday morning after a fight on Indianapolis' east side.
The incident happened just after midnight in the 500 block of N. Rural Avenue.
A spokesperson with the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department said officers were at a nearby house dealing with a domestic situation. A pregnant woman had been punched in the stomach.
While at the scene of the domestic, police found a man shot between two houses. Investigators aren't sure if the two incidents are connected.
The man was taken to a nearby hospital, where he died. The condition of the pregnant woman is unknown.
