LAFAYETTE — Police are looking for a man accused of shooting and killing another man early Friday morning in Lafayette.
Lafayette Police Department officers and emergency personnel were called around 12:40 a.m. to the 500 block of Gordon Court on the report of a shooting, LPD Sgt. Mike Brown said in a press release.
When they arrived, they located a man who shot, Brown said. The man later died.
Police are looking for a black male, possibly in his late teens to 20s, with short hair, last seen wearing a white T-shirt and jeans, Brown said.
The identity of the victim has not been released at this time.
