INDIANAPOLIS -- A man was shot and killed Sunday evening on Indianapolis' northwest side.
The shooting happened at about 10 p.m., in the 6500 block of Oakview Drive.
Officers with the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department were called to the area after a caller said they heard several gunshots.
The officers found a man with gunshot wounds.
He was taken to a nearby hospital, where he died.
The victim has not been identified.
