INDIANAPOLIS -- One person was shot and killed early Wednesday morning on Indianapolis' northeast side.
The shooting happened just after 4 a.m., in the 2800 block of E. 36th Street.
Officers with the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department were called to the scene on reports of a person shot. They found a man with at least one gunshot wound. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
The victim has not been identified.
