VELPEN — A man was arrested on Friday afternoon for allegedly possessing child pornography.
Detectives from the Indiana State Police Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force began to investigate a 23-year-old man after receiving a tip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children, according to a press release from ISP.
Authorities arrested the man on the suspicion of five counts of possession of child pornography after the served a search warrant at his house, according to the release.
He is being held in the Pike County Jail on a $350,000 bond, according to the release.
The investigation is still active, according to the release.
