INDIANAPOLIS -- Police have arrested a man in connection with the shooting of a 15-year-old earlier this week.
According to the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department, 18-year-old Eric Morris tried to kill the 15-year-old victim.
The teenager was dropped off at St. Francis Hospital just before midnight Tuesday from a black SUV. The SUV had front-end damage, and two people fled from the scene after dropping him off.

Minutes before the teenager was dropped off, officers responded to a shots fired call on Ewing Street near the intersection of Keystone and Hanna avenues. Police believe that's where Morris shot the teenager.
The victim remains in the hospital, where he was in critical condition at last check.
