INDIANAPOLIS -- A man has been arrested in connection with shooting 16-year-old on Indianapolis' north side in May.
Jawon Betts is suspected of shooting the teen while he was driving a vehicle near the intersection of 38th Street and Keystone Avenue.
The cousin of the 16-year-old was able to get the car to a nearby McDonald's to call for help.

Police received a warrant for Betts after they identified him as a suspect through interviews with the victim and witnesses.
Officers spotted Betts in the 3600 block of N. Temple Ave on July 17. He ran from police but was apprehended.
