GREENWOOD, Ind. -- A Greenwood gas station was burglarized Monday night, then again Tuesday night by the same person, police say.
Police responded to the Circle K/Shell gas station at 1229 N. Bluff Road Tuesday at 1 a.m. The officer found a fire extinguisher and a cinder block next to the broken front door.
Surveillance video from that night showed a man breaking the glass and stealing several cans of chewing tobacco.
The next night, the same suspect broke in with a cinder block, according to the Johnson County Sheriff's Office. The store's inventory was checked, and three cans of Grizzly pouches wintergreen were taken, but two were dropped at the front door as the suspect climbed out of the store.
The suspect is described as a young, heavyset man. On the first night, he wore a white hooded sweatshirt, a red or orange shirt with black shorts and black sneakers. On the second night he wore a camo jacket, jeans and boots.
