BROWN COUNTY — Indiana State Police detectives are investigating after a body was found Saturday afternoon in Brown County.
Around 12:30 p.m., state police detectives were asked by the Brown County Sheriff's Office to investigate after the body was found near Bean Blossom Road and Bell Road, ISP Sgt. Matt Ames said in a press release.
On Wednesday, Indiana State Police identified the victim as Angela Weisheit, 38, of Indianapolis.
The incident is being investigated as a homicide.
At this time, detectives believe this is an isolated incident and there is no ongoing danger to the public, Ames said.
