THORNTOWN — Three juveniles are accused of breaking into a Thorntown GL Food Mart early Thursday morning.

Deputies with the Boone County Sheriff’s Office were dispatched to a business in the 8000 block of W. SR 32 at about 3:30 a.m. When they arrived, they found a damaged door to the business, but nobody inside. The only missing items from the store were about 70 vape cartridges and 2 Juul smoking devices.

A BCSO bloodhound was called, which found many items that had been inside the store. No suspects were found during the track.

After a few of the security footage a few hours later, a Thorntown Police Department officer located three juveniles, who all matched the description of the suspects from the video.

The parents or guardians were contacted and reported to the Thorntown Police Department. The juveniles were placed on ankle monitoring, pending upcoming court appearances.
