Four people shot in downtown Indianapolis

INDIANAPOLIS — Four people were shot late Saturday night in downtown Indianapolis.

Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department officers and emergency personnel were called around 11:30 p.m. to the 100 block of West Maryland Street and found multiple people who had been shot, according to an email from IMPD Sgt. Jim Gillespie.

Three teens and a 20-year-old man were injured in the shooting, according to an IMPD police report.

Three of the victims are in stable condition, Gillespie said.

A 16-year-old is listed as the suspect in the case, according to an IMPD police report.

At this time, police have not released any additional information.
