INDIANAPOLIS — Two people were taken to the hospital after a vehicle pursuit Sunday afternoon resulted in a serious crash on the northside of Indianapolis.
Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department officers were called around 4 p.m. to investigate a reported shoplifting incident at T.J. Maxx, an IMPD officer at the scene of the crash told RTV6.
Officers then pursued the suspects of the incident as the left the mall until they ran the light at 75th and Allisonville Road and crashed, the officer said.
The two suspects were taken to the hospital, the officer said. Both patients were taken to the hospital in stable condition, IMPD Officer Hamer said in an email. No other injuries were reported.
