INDIANAPOLIS — One man is dead and one man is in critical condition after a shooting Friday afternoon near Arsenal Park in Indianapolis, according to police.
Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department officers were called to the shooting around 4:45 p.m. in the area of the 4600 block of North Haverford Avenue, IMPD Officer Michael Hewitt said in an email.
When they arrived, they found at least two people who appeared to be suffering from gunshot wounds, Hewitt said. A man later died and another man was taken to a local hospital in critical condition.
Chandler Bussey, 20, was killed in the incident, Marion County Chief Deputy Coroner Alfie McGinty said.
Police are investigating the incident as a homicide.
