Two shot and killed on Brouse Avenue in Indianapolis

INDIANAPOLIS — Two people are dead after a shooting Saturday night at an apartment complex in Indianapolis.

Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department officers were called around 11:10 p.m. to the 3100 block of Brouse Avenue, near East 32nd Street and North Keystone Avenue, on the report of a person shot.

When they arrived, they found a male with at least one apparent gunshot wound, IMPD Officer Samone Burris said in a press release. Officers later found another male with at least one apparent gunshot wound. Both later died.

Ja'marion Bledsoe, 16, and Jonathan Ramirez, 16, were killed in the incident, according to the Marion County Coroner's Office.

The incident is under investigation by IMPD homicide detectives and additional details have not been released.
