On Tuesday, police arrested Denise Gibson, 63, for her involvement in Sullivan's death. Gibson's photo is from an April 2017 arrest.

According to court documents filed by police, a friend of Sullivan's had been staying at the home the night of the incident and said Gibson and Sullivan had been fighting "on and off" throughout the night.

The witness told police he went to bed around 11 p.m. and woke up the next morning to find Sullivan unconscious and suffering from stab wounds. Gibson had left the home sometime during the night.

Police also recovered DNA from the scene that placed Gibson in the room with Sullivan on the night he was murdered.

Gibson is facing a preliminary charge of murder.
