Woman found dead in alley on Indy's southwest side

INDIANAPOLIS -- A woman was found dead in an alley Sunday night on Indianapolis' southwest side.

The woman was found just before 10 p.m., in the 1300 block of S. Reisner Street. Officers with the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department responded to a call of a woman down.

She was pronounced dead at the scene.  The Marion County Coroner identified the woman as Megan Holt, 31. An autopsy on Tuesday should determine her cause of death.

IMPD homicide detectives are investigating.
