21-year-old woman found shot to death in car on Indy's south side identified

INDIANAPOLIS -- A woman was found shot dead on Indianapolis' south side Wednesday morning.

Officers with the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department were called to the 1300 block of S. Senate Avenue around 8 a.m. Police found the woman in the driver's seat of a car in an alley. The car was still running.

After she was shot, police say her car crashed into a parked vehicle. 

The Marion County Coroner identified the victim as Kaylin Simone Cole, 21.

IMPD believes Cole was shot in a domestic situation. They are looking for a man but didn't release information about who he is or what vehicle he may be driving.
