INDIANAPOLIS — State police detectives are investigating after a woman was injured in a shooting early Saturday morning on Interstate 70 in Indianapolis.
A woman suffered a non-life threatening gunshot wound to the upper leg after the car she was in was shot at around 4 a.m. on I-70 near Keystone Avenue, Indiana State Police Sgt. John Perrine said in a press release.
State police Central SWAT team officers helped detective serve two search warrants in connection with the shooting, Perrine said. No arrests have been made.
Detectives do not believe the shooting was a random act, Perrine said.
The incident remains under investigation.
