INDIANAPOLIS -- A woman was shot while she was driving Wednesday morning on Indianapolis' northeast side.
The shooting happened around 2 a.m., near the intersection of 30th Street and Sherman Avenue.
She was driving a Cadillac when somebody fired through the front passenger door and hit her left upper leg.
An officer with the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department said the woman will be OK, but she was taken to Eskenazi Hospital.
