INDIANAPOLIS — The Damien Center is offering free HIV testing Saturday on National HIV Testing Day.
Anyone can get tested between 10 a.m.-2 p.m. at the Damien Center, located at 26 N. Arsenal Ave., according to a press release. A blood sample is taken through a finger prick and results are typically available within 20 minutes.
Everyone between 13-64 years old should be tested for HIV at least once, according to the Center for Disease Control and Prevention. Those who may be at a higher risk for HIV should be tested at least once a year.
